Other OS returns to the PS3 via hack
The feature that caused so much controversy has made it’s way back onto the PS3 via hack.
Many gamers didn’t make such a fuss about the removal of OtherOS on the PS3. However some gamers made a big ordeal over the removal of the feature.
Those same gamers should be happy to know hackers have came up with a small patch to make the once removed feature, useable again. That’s not all. It also enhances the feature beyond it’s previous capabilities. Titled OtherOs++ hacker Graf Chokolo stated , this new hacked version “can read/write anything in PS3 RAM” and is “very useful for HV hacking”, whatever that may be.
Could this cause even more problems for Sony? Doubt it, but seeing the situation Sony is in right now I wouldn’t put anything past these guys.
